Two controlled explosions on devices found in Dublin
Army bomb experts carried out controlled explosions on two suspicious devices found in West Dublin last night.
The devices were found outside a shop and a house in Parslickstown shortly after 11pm last night.
The alarm was raised at 11.20pm by a '999' emergency call to Gardaí
which resulted in the devices being discovered outside a shop and a house in Parslickstown.
The army bomb disposal team was dispatched to the scene and a number of residents had to be evacuated while the devices were examined.
The team carried out controlled explosions on the devices and determined they were elaborate hoaxes.
The all-clear was given in the operation at 3am this morning.
