Elderly man found dead in Limerick

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body at a house in Limerick city.

The body of the man was found at his home at Flood Street in Kilalee by a neighbour last night.

It is understood the man, who is aged in his 60s, may have been dead for several days.

The scene has been sealed off and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
