Gardaí release man arrested with handgun

Gardaí in Limerick have released a man arrested yesterday on suspicion of having a handgun.

The man, aged in his 20s, was arrested in Ballysheedy, Co Limerick and a firearm was recovered by detectives.

A file on the matter is to be sent to the DPP to decide whether or not charges will be preferred in the case.
