'Disappeared' dig continues

Forensic investigators are continuing to dig at isolated bogland in Co Monaghan where human remains were found last week.

Forensic investigators are continuing to dig at isolated bogland in Co Monaghan where human remains were found last week.

The body is thought to belong to one of the 'Disappeared', Charlie Armstrong, who went missing near his home in Crossmaglen, Co Armagh, in 1981 when he was 57.

It is thought it will take between three weeks and a month to formally identify the remains.
