Forensic results are expected later today on the badly decomposed body of a man in County Monaghan.

Forensic results are expected later today on the badly decomposed body of a man in County Monaghan.

The body was found by a team searching for Charlie Armstrong, who went missing from the Crossmaglen area in 1981.

It is thought he may have been murdered by the IRA.

His widow Kathleen says if the body is that of her husband, it will end 30 years of torment.
