Police investigate incidents at two bookmakers
Police in the North are today investigating an attempted robbery and robbery at two bookmakers.
The first incident occurred at 7.30pm yesterday in Winetavern Street, Belfast.
Two men wearing motorcycle helmets entered the premises and staff were threatened with a knife. The pair fled empty handed.
Around 20 minutes, later another bookmakers in the Springfield Road was held up at knifepoint.
Money was taken and police believe the two incidents may be linked.
