Mother of former conjoined twins reflects on 'year from hell'
The mother of Hassan and Hussein Benhaffaf, the Cork twins who were successfully separated earlier this year, says their family has come through a year of hell.
A year ago, Angie Benhaffaf was told her unborn children were conjoined, raising real fears for their health.
Now they are settled in at home in Cork with their sisters and parents after they stunned surgeons with their recovery from major separation surgery in London.
"It was the year from hell, but please God now things are going to start working out for us," said Angie Benhaffaf.
