Trio charged after police pursuit

Three men were charged today with assaulting police following a pursuit in Banbridge this morning.

Two, aged 23 and 25, were also charged with theft and criminal damage while a 20-year-old was accused of those offences plus dangerous driving and failing to stop.

They will appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
