SIPTU says industrial action will begin on Thursday unless the current deadlock can be broken.

The dispute centres on a decision by the County Council to outsource bin collection services to private company Panda from next Monday.

Negotiations are due to resume at the Labour Relations Commission tomorrow afternoon.
