Roche attends meeting on European security
An informal meeting of the OSCE is underway to discuss the future of European security.
European Affairs Minister Dick Roche is attending the meeting of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe which is being held in Kazakhstan, the current chair of the body.
Early warning, conflict prevention and resolution, human rights, weapons control and transnational threats are being prioritised by the EU.
Ireland will become chairman of the OSCE in 2012.
