Ireland ranked fourth best place in the world to die
Ireland has been ranked as the fourth best place in the world to die in a new quality-of-death survey carried out by the Economist Intelligence Unit.
The research rated countries according to the quality of care for those who are at the end of their lives.
Ireland was ahead of countries such as the US, Norway, Luxembourg and Canada, but fell to 17th place for the quality of the general healthcare environment.
