Sinn Féin is today mounting a legal challenge to the Government's refusal to hold the Donegal South-West by-election.

The seat has been vacant since Pat 'The Cope' Gallagher was elected an MEP last year.

Sinn Féin has gone to the High Court this morning seeking a judicial review of the Government's decision.
