Cable company workers hopeful of last-ditch deal

Over 100 workers at B3 Cables in Longford are hoping an 11th-hour deal can be reached to ensure the company's future.

A deadline to find a buyer for a cable manufacturing plant expires at midday today.

If a buyer is not found, the company will have to go into liquidation.
