Higgins calls for Mosney asylum seekers to be given choice

Socialist Party MEP Joe Higgins has today demanded that only asylum seekers who want to move from the Mosney accommodation centre in Co Meath should be asked to do so.

It follows a visit by the MEP to the site on Monday and protests by residents to try to stop more than 100 people being transferred to hostels elsewhere.
