Martin arrives in Ethiopia

The Foreign Affairs Minister has arrived in Addis Ababa at the start of a two-day visit to Ethiopia.

Micheál Martin will visit a number of projects run by Irish missionaries and NGOs.

He will meet with Ethiopian political figures and also with Irish business people who are investing in Ethiopia.

Tomorrow Minister Martin will have discussions with Prime Minister Meles Zenawi on development, climate change and political issues.

Ethiopia has been a priority country for Irish Aid since 1994.
