Party leader Enda Kenny is due to select his new shadow Cabinet later following the failed heave by Richard Bruton and a number of other TDs - including Deputy Enright.

A number of the rebel TDs are expected to be welcomed back onto the frontbench - but some will undoubtedly be sidelined.

Speaking to Midlands 103 radio Deputy Enright, from the Laois-Offaly constituency, said she told Enda Kenny not to consider her as she is expecting her second child and wants to concentrate on other things.
