Gormley: Rebel backbenchers have own agenda

Environment Minister John Gormley has said he believes certain Fianna Fáil backbenchers have come out against stag hunting and dog breeding legislation because of problems internally in the party.

He was responding to Fianna Fáil backbencher Mattie McGrath who claimed that Minister Gormley had bullied his party into a hunting vote.
