Calelly had several chances to change address, says official
An official who deals with the expenses of Oireachtas members says Senator Ivor Calelly had several opportunities to change his address from Cork to Dublin.
Evidence is being heard from the official in public at the Select Committee on Seanad Members Interests.
Payments office official Derek Dignam said that his office raised the concern with Senator Calelly in late 2008 when he was asked to clarify that the address in West Cork was his principal residence.
