Alleged Russian spy ring 'planned to use fake Irish passport'

Officials in Dublin are today investigating claims that a false Irish passport was to be used by a member an alleged Russian spy ring in the US.

The Irish Government said officials had been warned about a link to the so-called “deep cover” operation.
