Louth County Hospital A&E to close today

The Emergency Department at the Louth County Hospital in Dundalk will close this morning.

Instead patients will be treated at Our of Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda or Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry.

A new minor injuries unit will operate at the Louth County Hospital from 9am to 8pm seven days a week.
