Queen visit 'to cost taxpayer €8m'

It has been reported that the security bill for Queen Elizabeth's visit to Ireland next year could cost the taxpayer more than €8m.

Gardaí will have to erect a ring of steel in anticipation of threats from dissident republicans and Islamic extremists.
