SIPTU to begin legal action against HSE

SIPTU is to take legal action to secure an audit of HSE funds between 2002 and 2009.

SIPTU says it has tried unsuccessfully to contact the HSE chief executive Professor Brendan Drumm or anybody in authority to obtain the material required.

The union has now instructed solicitors to make an application to the High Court to have the information handed over to the union as soon as possible.
