Kingspan strike action deferred

Strike action at the Kingspan plant in Co Cavan has been deferred after the company agreed to withdraw a threat of lay-offs.

Ninety production and engineering workers at the building materials company in Kingscourt were due to made redundant today, and the facility was to be closed at the end of July.
