A new survey shows 62% of people would vote in favour a constitutional amendment in a proposed referendum on children's rights, it was announced today.

A new survey shows 62% of people would vote in favour a constitutional amendment in a proposed referendum on children's rights, it was announced today.

The poll was carried out on behalf of the Saving Childhood group, which includes Barnardos, the ISPCC, the Children's Rights Alliance and One in Four.

Only 1% of respondents said they would not support the referendum, while the remaining 37% are undecided.
