Pat 'The Cope' Gallagher not yet decided on ministerial pension

Fianna Fáil MEP for the North West Pat 'The Cope' Gallagher is still not sure about giving up his ministerial pension.

The Donegal MEP is one of the last serving politicians holding on to the perk.

There was public uproar in April over the issue of sitting politicians drawing a pension while still being paid a full wage as a TD, Senator or MEP.

Thirty politicians gave up the their pensions.
