Gardaí probe Dublin tiger kidnapping

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a tiger kidnapping.

A bank official and another man were abducted from a house in the Kiltipper area of Tallaght early this morning.

The bank official was instructed to go to the AIB branch in Crumlin Cross and hand over a sum of money in the vicinity of the Red Cow roundabout shortly after 12 noon.

Shortly after 1.30pm this afternoon, the second man was released.

Gardaí are appealing for information from the public.
