Leaving Cert students receive exam papers with missing pages
A number of Leaving Certificate students in South Dublin were given accountancy exam papers today with missing pages.
The State Examinations Commission said the mistake arose as a the result of a production error.
It said the affected paper was provided to 207 candidates in 16 schools.
Measures were taken to immediately provide the students with the correct version of the paper by fax and email and they were given extra time to make up for the error.
The Commission has apologised to the affected students.
The Irish Second-Level Students’ Union says it was "appalled at the errors".
"It is completely unacceptable that misprinted papers be distributed to students, particularly after the errors encountered with last week’s Junior Certificate Business Studies paper."
