Rescuers find body of missing man in Mayo

Rescuers searching for a missing man in Co Mayo have recovered a body.

A 27-year-old man went missing since yesterday, he had been swimming in Stoney Lake near Bangor Erris when he got into difficulty at around 4.30pm.

Divers from Ballyglass Coastguard team, Belmullet sub-aqua unit, Gardaí and the Sligo-based coastguard helicopter were all involved in the search.
