O'Donnell confirms defection to Bruton camp

Enda Kenny has suffered a crushing blow this afternoon with confirmation that the man whom he appointed as Caretaker Finance Spokesman only 48 hours ago, has pledged his support to Richard Bruton.

Kieran O'Donnell says he informed Mr Kenny this morning that he felt the future of Fine Gael was best served by Mr Bruton.
