Taoiseach Brian Cowen will meet with relatives of those killed on Bloody Sunday today.

Taoiseach Brian Cowen will meet with relatives of those killed on Bloody Sunday today.

Mr Cowen already spoke to some of the bereaved families by phone yesterday in the aftermath of the Saville Report, which proclaimed the innocence of the 14 people killed by British soldiers.

It also highlighted how some soldiers put forward false accounts of what happened that day in 1972.

A judgement on whether to prosecute any individual will be made by the Public Prosecution Service, but that decision is not expected to be made for some time.
