Majority want General Election this year

A clear majority of voters want a general election this year, but a significant number do not want either Enda Kenny or Brian Cowen as Taoiseach afterwards.

An opinion poll for today's Irish Times found while just 21% favour Brian Cowen remaining as Taoiseach after an election, less than a third back Enda Kenny.
