Family make new appeal for man missing for 12 years
The family of a man missing, presumed dead, has made a fresh appeal this morning on the 12th anniversary of his disappearance.
Gardaí believe Matthew Carroll, from Keys Park in Limerick City, died in suspicious circumstances on June 8, 1998.
He was last seen outside the Steering Wheel pub shortly before he disappeared, and Gardaí believe a number of people know what happened to him.
They are appealing for those who know something to contact the Garda Confidential number on 1800-666-111.
Matthew Carroll's sister-in-law, Sandra, has said they just want closure to end a 12-year "nightmare".
