Coastguards urge people to take care

The Coastguard is urging people to take it easy on the country's waterways this Bank Holiday Weekend.

Coastguards around the country are urging people that if they see anyone on cliffs, beach, lake, river or at sea who look to be in need of help, to call emergency services on 112.

Howth Coastguard in Dublin is also running an awareness campaign to promote water safety this weekend.
