Quinn calls for retention of St Luke's services

Former Labour leader Ruairi Quinn, has revealed he was diagnosed with cancer five years ago.

The Dublin South East TD made the revelation during a Dáil debate on the dissolution of Saint Luke's Hospital in Rathgar in the capital.

It is being transferred to the HSE with services to be moved to St James' Hospital.

Deputy Quinn revealed how the current Saint Luke's facility is vital.
