Exchequer figures show stability returning

Latest exchequer figures from the Department of Finance show tax receipts largely in line with what Finance Minister Brian Lenihan predicted on Budget day.

And while the deficit at the end of May is almost €3bn smaller than this time last year, it's down to an extra payment to the pension fund in 2009.
