PSNI evacuate houses after discovery of suspicious object

A number of homes have been evacuated in Co. Antrim after a suspicious object was found.

The alert was raised after reports of suspicous activity in the Dunclug Gardens of Ballymena in the early hours of this morning.

A number of families were moved to a nearby community centre and a controlled explosion was carried out by the British Army.
