Two arrested over blast outside house

Two men were arrested last night by police probing an explosion outside a house in Strabane.

Officers detained men aged 29 and 30 following the alert in Springhill Park this morning.

It is believed a device was thrown at the house overnight last night. Damage was caused to the door but there were no injuries.

Several houses were evacuated during the alert.
