Dead Irishman found in Thai hotel named

The Irishman who was found dead in Thailand has been named as David Hourigan.

The 38-year-old was originally from Moyross in Limerick and was an accomplished cyclist who was well known on the competitive circuit.

It's understood he had been living in Thailand for a number of months.

The Thai police are treating his death as suspicious.
