Eircom launches file-sharing crackdown

It's a case of "three strikes and you're out" for Eircom broadband customers who illegally share music online.

The company is introducing a pilot scheme which will see IP addresses used to identify offenders - who will get three warnings before their broadband service is cut off for a year.
