Conjoined twins Hussein and Hassan Benhaffaf return to Ireland today after the successful operation to seperate them.

Conjoined twins Hussein and Hassan Benhaffaf return to Ireland today after the successful operation to seperate them.

The boys have been given "every chance of a great future", thanks to skilled surgeons at Great Ormond Street Children's hospital in London.

The operation to seperate the boys lasted fourteen hours and their family say they have been given the "incredible gift" of seperate lives.

The boys will leave Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital this morning, before taking a flight back to Cork, where it's expected they will have a short stay in hospital before finally being allowed home to Carrigtwohill.

Their recovery has been far faster than expected and they have thrived since.

Angie and Azzedine Benhaffaf say while they are incredibly grateful for the huge amount of public goodwill, but they have appealled for privacy on their return.
