Cody ratified as new IMPACT chief

Shay Cody has been ratified as the new general secretary of the country's largest public sector union at IMPACT's biennial conference in Kilkenny.

Cody has been deputy general secretary for 15 years and will succeed Peter McLoone, who is to retire later this year.
