Harney: McAnaspie inquiry should be carried out as quickly as possible
Health Minister Mary Harney wants the inquiry into the death of Daniel McAnaspie to be completed as quickly as possible.
The body of the 17-year-old, who had been in the care of the HSE , was discovered in a drain in a Co Meath field last week. He had been missing since February.
The Dublin teenager had been stabbed a number of times.
Minister Harney said an independent inquiry into his death commissioned by the HSE will be carried out under the terms of guidelines from the Health Information and Quality Authority.
She said that she hoped this particular inquiry would be carried out in a speedy fashion due to the circumstances of Daniel's death.
