Cork's Lord Mayor calls for release of flood-relief funding

Lord Mayor of Cork Dara Murphy has called on the Government to immediately release €2m-€3m of the promised €10m fund for flood relief in the city area.

Just €313,000 has been provided to date to the Cork city region from State coffers, while more than that figure had already been distributed by the city's charities thanks to private donations.
