O'Keeffe to chair initiative to create 177,000 jobs
A new drive is getting underway to create 117,000 jobs here over the next ten years.
Enterprise, Trade and Innovation Minister, Batt O'Keeffe will chair a group of top industrialists and public servants which will work to implement the report of the Innovation Taskforce.
Mr O'Keeffe said the group wants to make Ireland the best place in Europe to turn research and knowledge into products and services.
The body will examine each recommendation to determine how and when to implement it.
