The death has been announced of Rita Childer, the widow of former president Erskine Childers and mother of Labour Party MEP, Nessa Childers.

The death has been announced of Rita Childer, the widow of former president Erskine Childers and mother of Labour Party MEP, Nessa Childers.

She passed away in the early hours of this morning in Gleneageary, Dublin.
