There is some disruption to flights operating to and from Ireland as a result of the volcanic ash cloud from Iceland.

Transatlantic flights have been cancelled, as well as some services to Spain and Portugal.

Intending passengers are being asked to check their airline's website for information.

The Irish Aviation Authority says Irish Airports are expected to be open until at least midnight tonight.
