British Army bomb disposal experts have destroyed what's been described as a "viable device" left in a car outside a polling station in the North.

British Army bomb disposal experts have destroyed what's been described as a "viable device" left in a car outside a polling station in the North.

Police say an explosive device was found in the vehicle left outside the building in Derry.

The centre and some nearby houses were evacuated while a controlled explosion was carried out.
