No verdict yet in Donegal rape trial

A jury in the Central Criminal Court trial of a Donegal man accused of raping a woman who was too sick to resist after a party in the county are to resume their deliberations tomorrow.

The accused has pleaded not guilty to raping and sexually assaulting the woman in a house in Donegal on May 20, 2007.

The jury of nine men and three women have been deliberating for more than four hours and have been told by Mr Justice John Edwards that a majority verdict will suffice.
