Fianna Fáil TD reluctantly agrees to donate pension to charity

Another Fianna Fáil TD is to give his Ministerial pension to charity, it was announced today.

Noel Treacy's decision comes as the Dáil votes on a Fine Gael move to legislate to remove the entitlement.

Last night, Jim McDaid claimed that he has been donating his to charity for a number of years.

Fianna Fáil MEP Pat 'the Cope' Gallagher now remains the only one to make a decision about his entitlement.
