Gilmore to unveil ex-FG councillor as Labour recruit

The son of a former Fine Gael TD is to be the latest recruit for the Labour Party.

Now independent and former Fine Gael Councillor Jimmy Harte will be unveiled by Eamon Gilmore in Dublin in the next hour.

He will then contest the next General Election for Labour in Donegal North East, where his father was a TD for 36 years.
